This is an original, One-of-a-Kind pendulum design- meaning there is only one of this particular pendulum and it is available for immediate shipment.
Pendulum Materials
- Weight-stone: Citrine
Shape: inverted teardrop
Color: partially transparent, lively stone filled with vibrant golden yellow and patches of clear
Mounting: simple smooth dome
- Metal: Sterling Silver throughout
- Chain accents: faceted Citrine (4x), faceted Peridot (2x), faceted, fiery, golden Welo Opal (1x)
- Chain clasp: lobster claw (1x), detachable chain (by way of lobster claw clasp), allowing you to detach and wear weight-stone separately as a pendant.
- Fob: hot air balloon, with "balloon" part domed on the front and convex on the back. This makes a lovely scoop to nestle your thumb or fingertip into while dowsing. The design is pierced, so you can see through the decorative slits on the balloon. Fob is detailed and highly polished on front and edges on the back. See "One-of-a-kind" tab for symbolism info.
Pendulum Measurements
- Pendulum's overall length: 7 1/2"
- Chain length (including clasp): 5 1/4"
- Weight-stone: 1 1/8" long x 5/8" wide (at the shoulders)
- Fob: 1 1/8" high by 5/8" wide
All measurements are close approximates. All metal parts (chain, clasp, fob, mountings, and connectors) are sterling silver. All stones are genuine.
Included with this pendulum - Drawstring pouch, giftbox, small polishing cloth, pendulum use and care instructions.
"One-of-a-kind"
This is one of my few "soul spun" creations. By this, I mean that I shaped this weight-stone by hand from a larger piece of citrine, letting the stone dictate its own final shape in the process.
All of our pendulums are designed and created by AYP pendulum maker, Eva Browning (that's me!) When I am able to, I love to create special designs that are limited to a single piece, like the one shown here. These original, "One-of-a-kind" designs only come around a few times a year and feature premium quality weight-stones, gemstones and sterling silver components.
Symbolism
To step into a Hot Air Balloon is to embark upon an exciting adventure. It represents voyage and a quest for spiritual knowledge. This motif also symbolizes the notion of “rising above” practical matters - and letting go of fear and caution to seek out more lofty pursuits.
