Body of Light - Clear Quartz, Multi-Gemstone, and Sterling Silver Pendulum

Included with this pendulum:
Drawstring pouch, giftbox with embossed AYP logo, gemstone energy information, pendulum care and energy cleansing instructions, reusable polishing cloth, and a "How to use a pendulum" bookmark.

  • "Body of Light" is a six-sided Clear Quartz pencil point weight-stone that's set in an elegant Arabesque-style sterling silver mounting. This lovely hexagonal point suspends on a detachable sterling silver chain with 7 gemstone beads, each one representing one of the body's 7 chakras: Garnet, Carnelian, Golden Jade, Malachite, Aquamarine, Iolite, and Amethyst. Click on the "Details" tab above for pendulum measurements.

The fob on this design (holding piece) is a sturdy, sterling silver silhouette cutout of a seated figure in a yoga position, highly polished on both sides.

The Quartz points used in this design are very high quality, however, these are in fact natural stones and may contain minor inclusions that are typical for clear Quartz (such as wispy clouds, ghosts, phantoms, etc).
  • Measurements - Overall length of pendulum is 7 5/8". The chain length, including lobster claw clasp, is 5 1/4". Weight-stone measures 1 3/8" including mounting and soldered bail loop. All measurements are approximate.

All metal parts (chain, clasp, fob, mountings, and connectors) are sterling silver. All stones are genuine.
  • How to wear this pendulum: This pendulum's chain has a clasp that allows you to detach the weight-stone so you can wear it as a pendant - simply by slipping it onto your own neck chain or satin cord. Or you can wear the whole pendulum by using a pendulum-to-pendant adapter, or simply by threading a neck chain or cord through one of the links in the pendulum's chain and letting both ends dangle. (Adapter and neck chain sold separately - see related items below.)

Sterling Silver - This pendulum is made with sterling silver and contains no base metal parts. Sterling silver is a beautiful and durable alloy of 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metal, usually copper. Pendulums made with sterling silver are more sensitive to subtle energy vibrations than those that are constructed with base metals (alloys that use nickle, zinc, lead, and/or tin).

Caring for your sterling silver - If worn or used much, sterling will eventually oxidize and develop a lovely patina - a nice warm glow accentuated by darkened (tarnished) areas. You can either leave it this way, or if you prefer a bright and shiny surface, gently polish with a treated cloth to remove the oxidation. Never use abrasive cleansers or expose to salts. Store in a cool dry place.
