This colorful little box measures 2 1/2" by 2 1/2" square by 1 1/2" high (inside dimensions are about 1/2" smaller). Box is made of wood with black finish. Inside the box, sides and bottom lined with red velveteen. Made in India.
Symbolism
In sacred geometry, the Seed-of-Life (also called the Genesis Pattern) is a variation of the Flower-of-Life symbol. The Seed of Life consists of seven overlapping circles of equal diameters. Six of the circles are regularly spaced within the seventh circle, producing a rosette with eighteen petals.
These seven circles can be seen to represent our seven major chakras, the colors of the rainbow, the musical scale, as well as the seven days of biblical creation. This pattern forms a foundation for the infinite, intertwined cyclical nature of life.
