This is "Prosperity", an eight-sided tapered point of semi-translucent Moss Agate. Moss Agate varies in color from dark green to milky white to clear with occasional bits of ruddy brown and/or black . Each stone is its own work of art, where lively, intricate, lacy patterns appear to tangle and swim inside the agate.
This design is limited to a total of six. As these are natural stones, the patterns and markings will vary in each, though the example shown is a good representation of the general color, size and shape. A couple of the points contain a feature called "druzy pockets" (as seen on white spot on the shoulder of the weight-stone in the second picture) - a tiny opening at the surface of the stone that reveals a shallow pocket or chamber into the stone.
The weight-stone is topped with a sterling silver domed mounting that's encircled with nine granulated points. It's suspended on a detachable sterling silver chain adorned with sterling clad Moss Agate accents.
The fob (the holding piece) is a large (1 1/4" x 7/8"), exquisitely detailed Tree of Life symbol inside a scrolling teardrop-shaped frame. A very wearable design, this pendulum makes a striking statement when worn as a a dangling pendant. For measurements and other details, click the "Details" tab.
Included with this pendulum - Drawstring pouch, giftbox, pendulum use and care instructions.
Measurements - Overall length of pendulum is 8 1/2". The chain length, including lobster claw clasp, is 5 5/8". Weight-stone measures 1 1/2" to 1 7/8". All measurements are approximate.
All metal parts (chain, clasp, fob, mountings, and connectors) are sterling silver. Please note: As these are natural stones, depth of color, translucence, and patterns in each stone may from example in picture.
How to wear this pendulum- This pendulum's chain has a clasp that allows you to detach the weight-stone so you can wear it as a pendant - simply by slipping it onto your own neck chain or satin cord. Or you can wear the whole pendulum by using a pendulum-to-pendant adapter, or simply by threading a neck chain or cord through one of the links in the pendulum's chain and letting both ends dangle. (Adapter and neck chain sold separately - see related items below.)
