This is a One-of-a-Kind pendulum design - meaning there is only one of this particular design.
This rare weight-stone is a highly polished Malachite orb with beautiful striated markings of all natural, rich, true green color. The shape of this weight-stone shows off its wonderful markings, including waves and whorls that come together to form a large, unusual "eye" on one side (plus there's another, smaller eye near the bottom of the stone, just above the mounting).
Natural Malachite of this quality is rare and so lovely! The orb is set between two crown shaped, domed sterling silver mounts. At the base of the orb is another, much smaller orb of Malachite and below that orb, dangles a sterling silver spike.
The detachable sterling silver chain is accented with six sterling capped round Malachites, each one specially selected for their beautiful banded markings.
The fob (holding piece) is a unique, sterling silver open face "locket" that resembles a compass. Through the locket's open cage face, you can see a cabochon of beautifully more banded Malachite. Open the locket to fully reveal the smooth, polished surface of the domed Malachite cabochon inside.
Malachite gets its amazing green color from a high copper content - a mineral that's an excellent energy conductor and well suited for the energy work of pendulums.
Included with this pendulum - Drawstring pouch, giftbox, pendulum use and care instructions.
Measurements- From top to bottom, overall length of pendulum is 7 3/4". The chain length (including the lobster claw clasp) is 5 1/4". Weight-stone, including mounts and dangling spike, measures 1 3/4". All measurements are close approximates.
All metal parts (chain, clasp, fob, mountings, and connectors) are sterling silver. All stones are genuine.
How to wear this pendulum: This pendulum's chain has a clasp that allows you to detach the weight-stone so you can wear it as a pendant - simply by slipping it onto your own neck chain or satin cord. Or you can wear the whole pendulum by using a pendulum-to-pendant adapter, or simply by threading a neck chain or cord through one of the links in the pendulum's chain and letting both ends dangle. (Adapter and neck chain sold separately - see related items below.)
